  1. I use Wikisky to locate constellations and stars from my geographical location.

    Mouse-over/click-on the different icons to get different views. Set your position using the immediate left icon to the ‘Find Object’ textbox.

    Libra is shown near the bottom left corner here; Orion (and its belt) is at the far right smack on the celestial equator. Knowing where Gliese 581 is – being able to point in its direction – sends a shiver up my spine.
